Another really productive work day and I did my Microsoft Excel test! Now I have to wait up to two weeks to find out if I’ve passed. I was finding it okay but then I had to take a work call that lasted about half an hour so it did throw me a bit!
The first of my garden tulips have opened. This makes me so happy every year. Tulips are quite possibly my favourite flowers (although there are lots of others very high up on my list!).
Rob cooked us a lovely lamb dinner tonight and it was my choice for the film. I chose ‘Ocean’s 11’ as Faye hasn’t seen it. I haven’t seen it in years and we all really enjoyed it.
My Easter holidays start on Friday and with only two working days left to go, my mind has already turned to all of the things I want to do in my time off. As I was listing all these to Faye, she stopped me. ‘Mum,’ she said with a frown. ‘You always put too much pressure on yourself. Just pick three things you want to do, and then once you’ve finished them, anything else will be a bonus.’
How could I argue with such sage advice?!
Just need to narrow my options down now…
