Corona Diaries – Day 19

Wednesday 8th April 2020

I decided to take my laptop outside this afternoon. It has been so beautifully sunny and mild during the last two weeks and I’ve been stuck inside a lot. It was nice but difficult to see my screen, so I’m sad to say it didn’t last that long as it wasn’t very practical (and my neighbours are really noisy – so not ideal for concentrating!).

Only one more day to get through.

Tonight, I finished reading ‘The Hate U Give’ by Angie Thomas. This will be a controversial opinion but I didn’t enjoy it that much. I understand that it’s a really important book. But I felt the story line dragged. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood for it? Sometimes when something is so hyped up, it can be hard to live up to expectations.

In project news, I think I have narrowed down my Easter holiday projects. I have two things I want to definitely do:

  1.  Some watercolours with Faye (as we’ve been talking about it for ages and we had so much fun last time)
  2.  Get back to work on my Elton cardigan (as it’s been languishing in my wip pile for a while now)

The last time we did watercolours 🙂

I haven’t decided on number 3 yet. Still pondering…
